Beau Robert Christensen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved son, Beau, a young man who brought so much joy, love and laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Beau left this earthly world far too soon leaving an enormous void in our lives that can never be filled. Beau is survived by his loving parents, Amy and Stu Christensen and his adored brothers, Charlie and Jake Christensen. He will forever be remembered by his grandparents, Stu and Jeri Christensen and Bob and Jenny Clifton, many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as extended family and countless friends he held so dear. Beau was a 2022 graduate of Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School. He continued his academic career at the University of North Georgia Oconee Campus with future plans to attend the University of Georgia. Beau was a devoted son, brother and friend. He cherished his family above all else always there with a smile and warm, huge embrace. His bond with his brothers was unbreakable and the memories they created together will be forever cherished. A true, loyal friend to so many, Beau had a special gift for making everyone feel special, welcomed and appreciated. His infectious laughter, amazingly bright smile and witty sense of humor brightened even the darkest of days. Beau had the remarkable ability to turn any gathering into a memorable occasion. Boy … did he ever love to have a grand ole time! His friends will be forever grateful for the laughter and camaraderie they shared. Beau’s faith was a cornerstone of his life. A religious young man he found solace, guidance and strength in his spirituality. His commitment to his beliefs served as an inspiration to those around him. His kindness and compassion were a testament to the values he held dear. Sports were a passion that ran deep within Beau’s veins. He lived for the thrill of competition, the joy of victory as well as the lessons of defeat. Football, in particular, held a special place in his heart. His dedication to the game was unwavering and he gave every ounce of his energy to excel on and off the field. Whether he was making big tackles or cheering on his favorite team, his love for football was undeniable. Above all, Beau was known for his sweet and loving nature. He had an enormous heart that was open to all and his capacity to love was boundless. Everyone who had the privilege of crossing paths with Beau felt the warmth of his affection and the sincerity of his love. Beau may have left this world far too soon but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him which will undoubtedly push us to be better humans. We will remember him for his infectious smile and laughter, his love for family and friends, passion for sports and his unwavering faith. Though he may be gone, his legacy of love and laughter will continue to shine ever so brightly. As we mourn the loss of Beau, let us celebrate the beautiful soul he was and the indelible mark he left on our lives. May his memory be a source of comfort and strength as we navigate this difficult journey of grief. Rest in Peace our sweet, precious Beau. You will be forever in our hearts, never once forgotten! A Funeral Mass will be held to honor Beau at Incarnation Catholic Church located at 2929 Bee Ridge Road Sarasota, Florida 34239 on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital BRC Strong Fund.
