Dear Noel Family,

I was so sad to hear of Noel's passing and am sending my warmest condolences to you all. I have such good memories of Noel from the beginning of my coming to USFSM as a faculty member in 2007. We served on a couple of committees together and it was always a pleasure to pass Noel in the hall for a chat. Noel was such a positive and welcome presence in everything! I know that so many would share this view. I remember Noel being one of the "wise ones" - always there to share some wise counsel, but never somberly, as there was always a laugh and smile, showing the force of his personality : ) I know that Noel will be greatly missed and remembered by those who knew him.

I am very sorry for your loss. Previously, I was able to work with Dr. Noel. He was a pleasure to sort out issues and ideas. I always enjoyed speaking with him. My best, Dr. Mary Beth Wallace
