Pat and I go back a very long time! We worked together in our early years in the 80’s supporting each other and perfecting our care of postpartum and antepartum patients. We had many moments where we took the time to really laugh at ourselves and some of the shenanigans that happened that helped lighten our mood and get us through some really busy times! We trusted each other through thick and thin and when I reported to work on a very busy day, I was happy to see her standing beside me! In the late 80’s, we followed each other to Labor and Delivery where the change in pace and the scope of information and skills were exactly what we needed! We loved the challenge! Pat was a great, smart nurse and I knew we could handle anything that came our way; together! heart We shared so much and in the end she taught me one final lesson; make it a point to stay connected with friends and colleagues who really touched your life throughout your career! We had a conversation during her last days and texted a bit, but we had so much more to say! heartXoxo RIP my Friend!
My heart and prayers go out to John and Jody and family during this very difficult time! Xoxo

You are now at peace Dear Sister and surrounded by God’s love and his heavenly Angels. I pray that your loved ones will feel comforted in knowing that you are always and forever not far away. “The Rose Still Grows Beyond the Wall” (A L Frink). Pat, you many times had a certain unique silent, half cocked smile where you would throw your head back a little and nod a little. That characteristic Pat Brady Dewitt smile was precious and is engraved in my heart. Rest In Peace. Love Judy

Pat was my coworker and friend who will be so missed. We started our journey together on post partum, continued on L&D and together again as NPs in the PCAP clinic. We shared so many private moments about the patients and staff there, read the same books and had fun lunch times. She taught me so much about being an NP. She was the ultimate professional, kind and courteous, and ALWAYS beautifully put together. We made plans to get together this coming January but sadly that will not happen.
I will miss you my friend and will be forever grateful to have had you in my life.
Sending my heartfelt love to John, John, Connor and Ryan praybroken_heart

What deep sorrow to have lost my dear friend so soon. We began as Nurse colleagues on the Maternity units, then lunch buddies, then shopping mavens and finally sisters. She convinced George and I to move to Huntington where it was so much easier to visit, decorate, shop (even more) and get closer over the years. Eventually we became couple friends with dinners and trips around the country. Always so beautifully "put together" she was the ultimate Nurse Practitioner with an unparalled concern for all her patients. Her patients, colleagues, friends and family will miss her terribly. Much love to John, John, Connor and Ryan.

Once in awhile a very special person comes into your life. I met Pat through playing mahjong. Pat was always thoughtful of others, and shared her knowledge of the game selflessly. I'll remember her fondly for many of her tributes - especially courage. We first saw how courageous Pat was in selecting the most difficult hands to play. It was fun to see how often she was rewarded for her courage by winning over and over. I'll never forget the joy on her face, when she won the most difficult and iconic hand ever - the famous "FF 2021 2021 2021" - which is practically impossible to win. But Pat did it! It was just a short time later, that Pat taught us all a more difficult lesson in courage. She faced this last challenge in her life with every ounce of courage, dignity, love and the strength of her faith. Pat was a true inspiration, and we will all miss her.
