Walter L. Falk, III

Walter L. Falk III, 65, of Nokomis FL, died peacefully at home on December 5th, 2020 from complications related to Cancer. Born in White Plains, NY on April 25, 1955 to Walter L. Falk Jr. and Gloria R (Ecker) Falk-Daderian. He was pre-deceased by his daughter, Kristin R. Falk, in 2009 and both of his parents. Walter is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Lou (Zito) Falk. Walter was a graduate of Northeastern University, Boston MA, where he obtained a B.S./B.A in Accounting. He practiced as a CPA @ Fox & Co. and Index Systems Inc. before joining Digital Equipment Corporation. He eventually moved to Autodesk Inc. where he spent the last 20 years supporting the Human Resources Technology department as a Solutions Architect. Walter thrived in this last position where he “promoted forward momentum with a positive energy” as a key player on a team that will sorely miss him. He leaves behind his siblings and their families, including Kerry L. Terminello (husband Dennis, nephews Eric and Paul); Glenn E. Falk (wife Debbie, nephews Blaise and Tucker and their mother Abby+); Virginia R. Kaschura (husband John, nephews Hans, Kurt and Evan, and niece Virginia Rose); Craig Falk (nephew CJ). Stepsisters Lucine Debany (nephew Barry) and Cindy Thuemmler (husband Frank). Surviving Aunt Peggy Tiburzi, and the many cousins in both the Tiburzi and Jannuzzo families. Walter also leaves behind the entire Zito family, where he was much more than a brother-in-law to his wife’s five brothers, her sister, and their many children. Walter was most lovingly viewed by his wife’s family as a brother, an uncle or a grandfather. All of Walter’s family and extended families are deeply saddened by his unexpected passing. Walter was inurned at Epiphany Cathedral Memorial Garden, 310 Sarasota St., Venice, FL 34285. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “Type I Diabetes Research and Development” at the Joslin Diabetes Center Inc., One Joslin Place, Boston MA.
