Elder Yvonnie M. Times "Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins." Isaiah 58:1 NKJV Born: May 27, 1951 in Manatee County, Florida. Parents: The Late James Andrew Times Sr. and the late Eddie Mae Simon-Wilson. Religious Affiliations: God blessed Elder Yvonnie Times to be one of the Founders of the Temple of Faith Deliverance and Salvation in 1976; and in August 2004, she became co-founder of Praise and Deliverance Ministries International, Inc., along with Founding, Elder Sheldon L. Times. Educational and Professional Accomplishments: Elder Yvonnie is a native of Manatee County. She is a product of Manatee County School System. Elder Yvonnie attended State College of Florida (formerly Manatee Community College) where she became a Registered Nurse and received an Associate Degree in Nursing in October of 1972. She continued her studies in nursing at the University of South Florida in 1974 where she received her Bachelor Degree. She later received her Master's in Theology at Fredrick University in 1988. Other certifications and accomplishments include her Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Health Care Development Specialist (HCDS). She has worked in the medical field for 40 years. Elder Yvonnie Times has served in the capacity of Charge Nurse, Head Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, Director of Professional Nursing, and Executive Director of South West Florida which included overseeing five nursing facilities. She was preceded in death by parents James Andrew Times Sr. and Eddie Mae Simon-Wilson, Sister Dorothy Ferguson, and Brother James Andrew Times Jr. Left to Cherish the sweet memories are: Son: Elder Sheldon L. Times (Lady Jasmine) of Parrish; FL Four Sisters Emma-Jean Pope (Leonard) of Americus, Georgia, Elder Clorita D. Morland of Palmetto, FL, Lady Patricia A. Green (Elder Roderick) of Bradenton, FL, Adrinna S. Lewis (Shelby) of Beeville, Texas; Two Brothers Melvin Wilson (Carolyn) of Bradenton, FL, Kelvin (Joethel) of Bradenton, FL; Brother-In-Law Audley Ferguson of Miami, FL; Grandchildren: Alexis J. Hughes and Jordan L. Times of Parrish, FL. A Host of Godchildren, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Church Members, and Friends. A wake service will be held, Friday, October 6, 2017, from 6pm until 8pm, at Praise and Deliverance Ministries International, 2309 14th Street West, Bradenton, Florida, 34205. A funeral service will be held, Saturday, October 7, 2017, at 11:00am, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 525 Martin Luther King Avenue East, Bradenton, Florida 34208. Burial will follow at Skyway Memorial Park, 5200 US Highway 19 North, Palmetto, Florida 34221.
