Marian Zeppi

Marian Zeppi of Bradenton, Florida, passed away, surrounded by her loved ones, on September 24, 2025, after an incredibly whole and vibrant life rooted in love, peace, and joy. She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Anthony “Tony” Zeppi, along with her parents and sisters. Born on March 1, 1933, in Pullman, Illinois, Marian was the daughter of Stephanie and Michael Musich. She grew up alongside her older sister Caroline, and later welcomed two younger sisters, Louise and Nancy. Marian attended Pullman Technical School and began her career as a legal secretary in Chicago’s Wrigley Building. In 1952, Marian met the love of her life, Anthony “Tony” Zeppi, at a dance hall in Chicago. They fell quickly in love and were married in December 1953. Together, they built a beautiful family, welcoming Valerie in 1955, Michael in 1961, and Kirk in 1965. The family lived in Riverdale, Illinois, before moving to Lansing in 1968. Frequent Florida vacations led them to fall in love with Longboat Key, where they purchased a condo in 1976. By 1977, they left the snow and made Florida their home. Marian and Tony went on to found Anthony’s Cooling, Heating, and Refrigeration, where Marian played a vital role in its creation and success. Their son Michael has since expanded the family business into something beyond what Tony once dreamed, yet something Marian was blessed to witness flourish. Above all, Marian’s proudest legacy was her family. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Valerie and Ray, Michael and Victoria, and Kirk and Tess; her grandchildren and their partners Nicole and Ben, Breanna and Carmine, David and Grace, Reyna, Amado, Isabella, and Olivia; and her great-grandchildren Noella, Miles, Jackson, and Jaya. Marian’s boundless love, strength, and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends until they are reunited again in Heaven. A viewing will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, 912 53rd Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34207. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 2850 75th St W, Bradenton, FL 34209. Burial will follow at noon at Sarasota Memorial Park, 5833 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34231.
