Mark Kelly

Mark Kelly, 53 of Sarasota, Florida went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on Thursday, August 17, 2017. He is greatly missed by his wife of 24 years, Debbie, his beautiful daughter, Kathaleen "Katie" (15), handsome son Jack (14) and the family's two guinea pigs, Twix and Baxter. His is also survived by his mother Bridget, brother Timothy, sister-in-law Barbara, nephew Timothy Jr. and niece Jenna Kelly all of Webster, NY. Additionally, he is survived by his sister-in-law Karen, and nieces Jessi and Julia Sodoma of Victor, NY. In addition, he is survived by numerous loving friends and relatives in New York and Florida, including lifelong friends, Bruce, Kris, Gina and Luke Ferrara. Mark, a Veteran of the US Army Reserves, held a degree in Marketing from Monroe Community College and spent his professional career in Telecom Real Estate management. In some of his spare time, he was also a professional DJ in Sarasota and enjoyed blessing many young people with music for their special occasions. He spent 30 years assisting with youth groups , most recently at Hope International Ministries in Bradenton, and worked hard to help those he was involved with to find their purpose in the Lord. Mark loved his Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and was blessed to go to San Diego and watch them win Super Bowl XXXVII. Last year he was able to check off another bucket list item when he traveled to his beloved Ireland as a chaperone with Sarasota Young Voices. The greatest love of his life was watching his children perform and compete in the local area. Mark had an incredibly generous heart and many people benefitted from his time, talents and money. He loved living life with his wife and kids, and the people around him. He had a welcoming presence; he was full of laughter and stories to share and could light up a room with his smile. Mark was his family's best friend. Family and friends may call at Toale Brothers, 40 N. Orange Ave, Sarasota, on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Mark's celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Hope International Ministries, 5425 39th Street E, Bradenton, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in support of his children at the GoFundMe account established for the family.
