Betty Silvertooth

November 13, 1924 - October 17, 2021

Betty was born in Bradenton, FL, the daughter of Helen & Joseph Wilson. Betty married Lynn Silvertooth in 1946 and stayed together until his death in 2014. During her career as a Registered Nurse, Betty also contributed her time to charitable endeavors, such as being an original member and Parliamentarian of the Sarasota Junior League, and a member of the Sarasota Garden Club. Betty was an avid tennis player into her nineties, and a life-long bridge player. She was Lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sarasota. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Judge Lynn Silvertooth, and her daughter Sandra Silvertooth Klee, who died in 2013. She is survived by her son, James, his wife, Lisa, and their two daughters, Nikki and Shelby; her son-in-law, Gordon Klee and grandsons Robert and James, and great-grandson, Owen. She was a wonderful wife and mother, always putting her husband and children first. The Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Tidewell Hospice of Sarasota. Services will be held Friday November 12, 2021, at 11:30 AM at Sarasota National Cemetery.
