Brenda Leigh (Yager) Gifford 73 of Sarasota, Florida lost her fight with cancer on July 15,2022 at home surrounded by her loving husband and children. Born July 18, 1948, in Afton, NY. She was the daughter of the late Brandon Leigh Yager and Camilla & Kenneth Viall. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Roger Gifford. Three loving children, Gary(Sue) Sheely of Dandridge,TN. Cami(Ted) Fellows of McLean, NY and Lisa(Keith)Siegard of Willseyville, NY. Grandchildren- Nicole(Sheely)Eaton, Shenandoah(Eric)Metzger,John Sheely, Kirstyn Siegard,Justin (Rebecca) Siegard, and Josh Siegard. and 8 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews She is survived by her siblings, Frank(Lisa)Yager of Groton,NY, Wendy Yager of Groton, NY, Robin(Ralph) Collins of Morristown, NY, Kevin(Robin)Yager of Dryden, NY, Philip(Lisa)Yager, Kannapolis, NC, Catherine England Cortland NY, Marshall(Zhao Hing-Luo) Viall and she was predeceased by her sister Nellie( Bob) Argyle in 1995. She worked in the telecommunication field for 25 years and was a expert in telephony, which gave her the opportunity to advance thru her career to management positions. She was a avid quilter, genealogist for her family, and took great pride in it. She also was a devoted Jeopardy and NY Yankees Fan.
