Bud C. Wilder

October 28, 1934 - January 8, 2022

Bud C. Wilder (87) was born Oct. 28, 1934 in Omaha, Nebraska and went to be with Jesus on Jan. 8, 2022. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree at Iowa Wesleyan University, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa and a Bachelor of Divinity at Garrett Theological Seminary, Evanston, Illinois. Then he spent a lifetime of service pastoring churches in Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois and Missouri. Surviving are his wife Patricia Tomlin Wilder, of Bradenton Fl, children, Stan(Theresa) Wilder, of Virginia, Beverly(Curt) Baechler, of Florida, Robert Wilder, of California, Steve(Jodi) Yarger, of Minnesota, Tim(Kathy) Yarger, of Minnesota, Susan(John) Rainville, of Wisconsin, 14 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 brothers, Larry(Linda) Wilder, of Arizona, Ross(Kay) Wilder, of Nebraska, and 1 sister, Sherry(Giles) Konrad, of Iowa. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Robinson, and sisters, Joan Thompson, Mary Jean Spencer and Rowene Hoepner. A military service will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date.
