He later became an organizational psychologist, working for the CIA, RHR International and in his own firm. Overall, he worked with executives to enhance their own effectiveness as well as that of their organizations. He worked primarily with senior management in Fortune 500 companies, but also consulted in the public sector. In both sectors he had the great satisfaction of sharing with his clients the positive impact of their work. Throughout his career, he had the good fortune to work with some unusually talented and caring people. Although he enjoyed his professional work, the most important part of his life was the time spent with his family and friends. After retirement In Sarasota he was active in the Episcopal Church, civic organizations and in pro bono consultation with church, education, music and medical research programs. He also participated in the Goodrich Family Association. As a founding member of its board, he helped in the tracing of the family genealogy back to the early 1600’s at Bury St. Edmond’s, England. He particularly enjoyed taking his adult son to the millenarian celebration at the Goodrich Castle in Goodrich, England. In lieu of flowers, please donate to either St Boniface Episcopal Church, or Church of the Redeemer (both in Sarasota) or to the Purdue Music Organizations in West Lafayette, IN.
