Ethel also has a legacy of five great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Ethel was a humble, honest woman who was supportive and demonstrated the meaning of unconditional love; She was someone who loved her family. She was a woman who loved to travel and enjoyed her road trips. She found humor in the simplest things: late night ice cream trips and giggling over stories she would tell. Her laugh was infectious, and her smile lit up the room. She was thrilled to spend time with friends and loved ones, and had the gift of hospitality. She was a humble, honest and generous woman, who was gentle, and a spit fire all rolled into one. She lived life on her terms, with dignity and the respect of those around her. Ethel was a woman of many talents. She was a faithful congregant of the Lutheran Church both in Florida and New York, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She loved her tennis, participating in a bowling league; and spending time in her gardens brought her much joy and peace. She appreciated fine music and loved attending concerts and other community events. Memorial arrangements will be made at a later date.
