Jon "Scott" Becker Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jon “Scott” Becker, passed away peacefully the morning of July 2, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Scott was born July 27, 1962 in St. Pete FL, grew up in Venice FL and resided in Englewood, FL where he ran JSB Orthotics Inc., a successful orthotics manufacturing lab. Scott is survived by his loving wife, Cathleen Becker, daughter and son-in-law; Melissa and Yohanne Mwale, sons; Matthew Becker and Conor Ridley, stepdaughter and son-in-law; Cori and Dino Fanti, sister and brother-in-law; Christine and James Griffith, mother; Geraldine “Geri” Becker. In addition, Scott had a wonderful extended family consisting of many cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Scott was preceded in death by his brother; Charles “C.J.” Becker. Scott was an incredibly generous and kind human being and we will be celebrating the life he lived as he would have wanted. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 30, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Venice, 312 Miami Ave W, on the Island of Venice. Toale Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory – Ewing Chapel, 140 E Venice Ave is in charge.
