Joseph G. Moffa

Here's it. Joseph G. Moffa, 90, of Venice Fla., died January, 17th 2022. Joe died peacefully at home. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Theresa, his son Christopher and daughter-in-law Lorraine, his daughter Francesca and son-in-law Christopher De Michele, and his two grandsons, Anthony Moffa and John Moffa. He is also survived by his sisters Clara Ranier and Gloria Paluka, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joe is predeceased by his mother Grace, father Joseph, and brothers Anthony and Dennis. He served in the United States Air Force as a Supply Instructor, graduated from Florida State with BA in Business, was a consummate salesman in the leading edge of the textile industry, and dabbled in real estate. Joe, originally from Jeannette, Pennsylvania (Go Jayhawks!), was an avid golfer, history buff, and an unwavering Pirates and Steelers fan. He had a kind heart, a good sense of humor, and a generous spirit. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Due to covid, a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date. Donations in Joe's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
