Juli Aldridge Tofte (Jules)

May 24, 1961 - May 31, 2022

Juli Aldridge Tofte (Jules), age 61, but she’d grab our rat tails for saying that. Passed peacefully in her own home on May 31st, 2022. Jules, as everyone called her was born May 24th, 1961, in Kankakee, Illinois to her mother Nancy LaMontagne and her father Rodney Tofte. She moved to Florida in 1980 with her then soon to be husband Jimmy Aldridge where they had 2 sons- Eric Aldridge, 40 years old and Nicholas Aldridge, 35 years old. She has 3 younger brothers- Brian, Lance and Austen Tofte. Her 2 aunts- Tara, being more like a mother to her and Bonnie, being more like a sister to her. But most importantly to her, her grandchildren- Elliott, Ryleigh, Ezra, Ethan and Elijah. She was proud of her grandchildren and loved them with her whole heart. Among other family and close friends. One of her favorite things was to get the family together, cook big dinners and laugh over memories. From Christmas dinner to Easter lunch. She was proud of her family and loved fiercely. Juli went above and beyond for others. She has 2 sons, but was a mother to so many more. She filled her home with love and opened her doors to anyone who needed it. From her Sunday pot roast dinner to an extra cot if you needed it. Juli was a fighter, and a strong woman. She fought for many years and on that Tuesday afternoon, she fought her last battle. She laid to rest and went to the gates of heaven with open arms to see others she had lost. It may seem as if she’s leaving behind a big family, but anyone who knows her, knows now she can watch over us all. Please join us to celebrate her life on Thursday, June 9th 2022 from 3 to 5pm., at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Bradenton Chapel, 912 53rd Avenue West, Bradenton, FL 34207. She's in the sun, the wind, the rain she's in the air you breathe with every breath you take. She sings a song of hope and cheer, there's no more pain, no more fear. You'll see her in the clouds above, hear her whisper words of love, you'll be together before long, until then listen for her song.
