Margaret Perini Myette

Margaret Perini Myette, 94, was born in Tampa Florida on November 25, 1929. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband Roger Paul Myette of 33 years, her parents Fern Walker Wellacott, Glenwood Orlyn Wellacott, her sister Glenna Fern Wellacott, and her half-brother Carl Scott. Margaret is survived by her four stepchildren, Peter L. Myette (wife Sandra Rivera) and Roger P. Myette Jr. both of New York, NY, Pamela Myette (Partner Barbara Livermon) of Plymouth MA, and Gerard Myette of Sarasota and three step-grandchildren Rose Myette (husband Tyrone Samuel) of New York, NY, Lenox Myette of Los Angeles, CA, and Patryk Myette of Cambridge, MA. Margaret was a generous step-mother and grand-mother who felt lucky to have this new family, when she married her husband Roger. Margaret graduated from the Business University of Tampa and moved to Sarasota. In her years in Sarasota, Margaret worked at Superior Mechanical, Inc, and Tom Brown Trans Air Conditioning Co. In a bold move, Margaret opened her own Company Mechanical Contracting with her late business partner Charles D. Satterlee in 1977. She sold this company which is still in business as Air Service of Manasota Inc Margaret and Roger moved to Lake Shore Village in Sarasota in January 1992. Both Margaret and Roger were active in the Lake Shore Village Community for many years. Margaret served as Vice President for two years, President for six years and Assistant Treasurer for five different treasurers. Roger worked on insurance issues for the community and individual members. Margaret retired from her roles at Lake Shore Village in 2019, but still pitched in with estoppel letters, welcoming committee work, and anything else that was needed. Margaret loved staying active in the community. For the last few years, Margaret actively played Mahjong and Bingo in Lake Shore. Margaret loved her friends in Lake Shore Village and cherished living there. Margaret was a member of Incarnation Church since 1975. Her funeral service will be held at Incarnation Church 2901 Bee Ridge Road Sarasota, Florida on Wednesday November 13, 2024 at 9:30am.
