Our precious mother, Mary Ellen Valentic, passed away unexpectedly on December 8, 2021 in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. She was born November 17, 1944 in Buffalo, New York to John and Caroline (Bestine) Kneitinger. Mary Ellen dedicated her life to being an amazing mother and provided a warm, welcoming environment that made everyone around her feel loved and accepted. She spent many years traveling throughout the United States until finally settling in Lakewood Ranch, Florida in 2001. She made many friends along her journey and touched more lives than she realized. In addition to being a mom, Mary Ellen was a loving sister, and grandmother. She lived her life endlessly helping others. Many referred to her as the kindest soul they ever met. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. She is survived by her sister, Carol Ann Stay of Orlando, FL; one son, Kyle Valentic and wife, Meta of Culver City, CA, one daughter, Leslie Adams and husband, Jamie of Lakewood Ranch, FL; three grandchildren, Madison Adams, Savannah Adams and Malia Valentic along with nephews and a niece. All of whom she loved deeply. Family and friends are invited to attend her service at Our Lady of the Angels, 12905 State Road 70 E, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202 on Saturday January 29, 2022 at 1pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1030 133rd St NE, Bradenton, FL 34212 following the conclusion of the mass and Blessing at the Garden.
