    Mary Lou Sayler Constantine

    April 16, 1930 - April 12, 2022

    Mary Lou Sayler Constantine, 91, passed away at Tidewell Care Center at Village on the Isle, in Venice, FL. April 12, 2022. Mary Lou was born April 16, 1930 to Frank and Evangeline Conrad in Danforth, IL. Roger Sayler and Mary Lou were married June 25, 1949. Together they had four children. Roger passed away January 14, 1979. Mary Lou married James Constantine in Melbourne, FL. August 18, 1984. Mary Lou is survived by her husband James, her children, James (Candy) Sayler of Indian Harbor Beach, FL., Julie Ecker of Valdosta, GA., Becky (Roger) Hart of Venice, FL., Bradley Sayler of Gilman, IL., and daughters Joanne (Jack) Hegarty of Nanuet, NY., and Janice DeJulio of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by several grandchildren Melinda (Wayne) Decker, Jolyn (Bryan) Jones, Kerry (Shawn) Marshall, Jeff Ecker, Andrew (Buffy) Ecker, Jenny (Clint) Knowles, Brennan and Cale Sayler, Todd (Andrea) Johnson, Amanda (Michael) Brahler and great-grandchildren Sarah and Ryan Decker, Ashlyn, Karsyn and Bryce Jones, Caitlyn and Chloe Marshall Kenny and Tyson Ecker, Sheldon Appling, Felicity Ecker, AJ and Colton Ecker, Porter, Wesley, and Charlotte Knowles, Casey Johnson, and Max, Isabelle and Stella Brahler, along with several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Eva Conrad, her first husband Roger Sayler, brothers Ervin (Madeline) Conrad, Delmar (Wanda, Natalie) Conrad, Merle (Genevieve, Virginia) Conrad, James (Shirley) Conrad, Wilbur Conrad, and sister Barbara Dillsworth. She is also preceded in death by three grandsons: Michael and Greg Sayler, and Brian Hart, son-in-law Richard Ecker and son-in-law Larry Johnson. Mary Lou loved her family very much. She was a loyal and good friend to many and enjoyed creating flower gardens wherever she lived. She was a voracious reader and was never without a book in hand. We will miss her strength, her courage, her great advice and mostly her smile. The family is planning a Celebration of Life at a later date.
