Michelle A. Benassi, 57, of Sarasota, formerly of Bermuda passed away on January 23, 2021. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Branco. She is survived by her son Jordan Baker (Nicole) and daughters Cayla Garber (Aaron) and Shae Benassi. Michelle is also survived by her father Daniel Branco and her step mother Connie Branco along with her three sisters, Sonia Hollis (Charles), Denise Branco and Cari Branco. She also had a niece, Alexandria Greenslade (Thomas) and nephew Anthony Smith (Jackie), and several great nieces and nephews, along with her granddaughter, Adalynn. Michelle was born in Bermuda and came to the U.S. in 1981. She loved her island and visited yearly. She enjoyed showing her children where she grew up. She was a kind and caring person who was full of life and loved her family and others dearly. She will be sorely missed by all. A Celebration of Life will be held on February 20, at noon, at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, 40 N. Orange Ave, Sarasota. There will also be a live remote screening available.
