Richard (Dick) M. Reinbold

Richard (Dick) M. Reinbold, age 92, passed away May 5, 2022. He was born in Shelbyville, Indiana to Charles and Carrie Reinbold. Richard is survived by his wife of 64 years, Delores Reinbold, daughter Donna Sease (David Sease), son Dennis Reinbold (Jennifer Reinbold), six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Richard served in the Navy from 1948-1952. He worked in drafting and engineering at Chambers Aircraft in Shelbyville, and Link-Belt in Indianapolis. He was a member of good standing in the Indiana Freemasons for 55 years. Dick and his wife were successful business partners and started Dreyer & Reinbold, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1968. The business stayed in the family when Dick and Dee retired and moved to Sarasota and is currently owned and operated by their son, Dennis Reinbold. Dick enjoyed boating for a few years after retiring, but his real love was golf. Over the years he was a member of many golf clubs in Indianapolis and in Sarasota. He enjoyed playing at different courses around the country while on business trips and personal vacations. The family will hold a private funeral service at the Sarasota National Cemetery as well as a celebration of life at a later date. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Richard’s honor to Salvation Army, All Faiths Food Bank, or Church of the Palms.
