Richard "Rikk" Louis Viviano

Richard “Rikk” Louis Viviano passed away peacefully on Friday, July 9th in Venice, Florida surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 14, 1951 in San Diego, California to Robert Louis Barr, Sr. and Shirley Viviano, who both preceded him in death. When a young boy he moved with his mother and brother, Robert, to Michigan. Rikk attended St. David’s High School. From 1969-1972 he also served his country as a Lieutenant JG in the United States Navy, serving as a RIO (radar intercept officer) aboard the USS Oriskany CV-34, during the Vietnam War. Rikk also served his community, volunteering as Cubmaster of Pack 77 in Venice for several years. Rikk leaves behind his loving wife, Tracey, son Jared, son Mackenzie, daughter Kira (Corey) Blair, and daughter Kaitlin (Peter) Mosher. He was a Proud Papa of Shae, Tiana, Daye, Alexis, Caylee, Logan, Aria and Isaiah. Rikk was preceded in death by his granddaughter Layla. Rikk is also survived by his siblings Robert, Kathy (David) Walters, William and Kristen of Michigan; and survived by several nieces, a nephew and a great-nephew. Per his request his walking on will be private with cremation services by Toale Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory, Venice, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Southwest Florida Boy Scout Council, 1801 Boy Scout Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33907 in his name.
