Allen Walker

Allen was and forever will be a father of three, a grandfather of four, an amazing brother to his sister and brother-in-law, as well as an uncle and great uncle to many. Allen passed away on March 6, 2024. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of his loved ones and a legacy of selflessness and unwavering strength. Throughout his life, Allen exemplified the essence of caring for others. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he dedicated every moment to supporting and nurturing them. Whether it was attending their soccer, baseball or softball games, being the family handyman, or simply being present and listening on the porch, Allen's love knew no bounds. Allen's kindness and generosity extended beyond his immediate family to include his lifelong friendships as far back as nursery school. He was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand and his compassionate nature, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Walking your dog may feel like a minuscule daily task yet was a passionate hobby for Allen. He was known for his gentle spirit and deep connection with his furry companions. Each brought him immense joy and companionship. His love for animals invited many new friendships that established deep connections with so many people that grew to love and care for him over the years. Despite battling with a failing body, Allen faced each day with remarkable courage and resilience. His unwavering willpower and mental strength inspired all who knew him, demonstrating that even in the face of adversity, one can find strength and hope. While Allen may no longer be with us in person, his spirit lives on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, and the furry friends he cherished so dearly. A gentle breeze on the “island” is where you will connect with his mind, spirit and love. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the honor of crossing paths with him. A celebration of life will be held at Tri-Par Estates, 1616 Presidio St. Sarasota, FL 34234 (Club House) on Saturday March 16, 2024, at 6PM.
