Rosalinda "Linda" Iannarelli

Rosalinda “Linda” Iannarelli, 70, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Linda was born on February 1, 1956, in Suffern, New York, to Elizabeth McCallum and Raffaello Biagini. At the age of two, her family left the United States to resettle in the town of Ayr in Scotland. It was here that Linda spent a loving childhood with her parents and two brothers, Mark and Ross Biagini, and made friendships that would last a lifetime. Nurtured by the tradition and warmth that would define her life, Linda completed her formal education before meeting her future husband and love of her life, Laurence Iannarelli. Laurence and Linda married on May 20, 1978, at Saint Margaret’s Church, Ayr, Scotland. Their son Riccardo was born in Scotland in July, 1979, and daughter Elisabetta, followed in 1983. At the end of 1983 Linda and family emigrated to the USA, living first on Staten Island, NY before moving to Bordentown, NJ. It was here that Linda found much happiness and contentment as a loving wife and stay-at-home mother raising her children amidst the beauty, solace, and values of a quintessential small-town USA. Linda thrived in this environment and her gentle spirit made everyone around her feel safe, welcomed, and loved. In 1996 Linda and family moved to Sarasota where for the last 30 years, she created new memories and helped nurture her beloved grandchildren, Giovanna, and Michael during their most formative years. We will remember Linda for her soft voice, kind heart, and selfless nature. She always saw the good in people, offered comfort without judgment, and quietly put the needs of others before her own. Her warmth, grace, and unwavering love touched everyone, fortunate enough to know her. She is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Laurence Iannarelli; her daughter, Elisabetta Iannarelli; her grandchildren, Giovanna and Michael; her loyal service dog, Adidas, who faithfully remained by her side for the past seven years; and her siblings, Mark Biagini, Ross, Marisa, Cinzia, Geny and sisters-in-law Angela, and Elizabeth. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, including Sofia, Zoe, Cori, Louisa, Stephanie, Carlo, Richard, and Lorenz. She was preceded in death by Elizabeth McCallum, Raffaello Biagini, Riccardo Iannarelli, and Albertina Iannarelli. There will be a private family viewing for the family on May 5, at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Sarasota. A funeral service celebrating Linda’s life will take place on May 7, 2026 at Saint Martha’s Catholic Church, Sarasota at 10 AM. Masses are also being held in the towns of Girvan and Ayr in Scotland, in loving memory of Linda. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
