Sandra Joan Britt (LoBalbo)

Sandra Joan Britt (LoBalbo), passed away on May 3rd, 2024, peacefully in her home on Siesta Key, FL. Born to Fred and Bridget LoBalbo on February 16th, 1947, in New York City, Sandra had an impact on so many with her faith, kindness and love. Sandra was a cherished member of the LoBalbo, Greco and Britt families, sister to Fred (and Linda) LoBalbo and Doreen LoBalbo, Mother to John Greco, Jody (and Gianni) Bisceglia, Jesse (and Tina) Greco and Jeffrey (and Lauren) Greco and Wife to Trebor Britt and his family, married in 2008 in a beautiful ceremony on Siesta Beach. Grandma Sandy was a loving and proud Grandma to her five grandchildren, Liano and Stefano (Bisceglia), Anthony (Greco), Brooklyn and Dominick (Greco). Aunt Sandra has four nieces, Denise Masi, Stacey Carew, Lori Marcella (LoBalbo) and Jamie Caiola (LoBalbo) who will carry her legacy of kindness and joy. Sandra was previously married to Louis Greco and had 4 children they adored. She is sister to Phyllis (and Jerry) Carew. A graduate of Preston High School in 1964, Katharine Gibbs School in 1965 and the University of South Florida in 2003. After raising her children, Sandra worked for Trans Art Designs as an Interior Decorated and as a Realtor for ERA Strathmore, Michael Saunders, and Coldwell Banker. Sandra then returned to school and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse working for Sarasota Memorial Hospital and Hospice. Towards the end of her life, Sandra worked for Sarasota Country as a substitute teacher throughout Sarasota elementary schools. As a woman of strong faith, Sandra began everyday studying her beloved bible and listening to Dr. Charles Stanley. Raising active and athletic children and grandchildren, inevitably took her to many fields and gyms continuing to grow her love for sports throughout her life. Sandra loved spending time on the beaches of Siesta Key and down the Jersey Shore with her family, driving up and down the East Coast often to celebrate her family. Mom’s ability to listen with empathy and love unconditionally, had a profound impact on so many, including her church families in Sarasota and NJ. Predeceased by her parents, Sandra’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her husband Trebor, her children, grandchildren, brother Fred, sister Doreen, and everyone she impacted by her presence. Sandra’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. A Celebration of Life ceremony to honor the life of Sandra Joan Britt will be held on Saturday, June 15th, 2024, at 11:00AM at Lincroft Bible Church, located at 790 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ 07738. A reception will be held at Lincroft Bible Church after the celebration. Sandra will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her. In lieu of flowers we request that a donation be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Memory of Sandra Britt.
