    Betsy Zeino

    June 18, 2021

Betsy Zeino, 62, of Longboat Key, FL, died on Thursday, June 18, 2021. Betsy will always be the much-beloved wife of George Zeino of 22 years. She was the youngest daughter of Charles R. and Barbara W. Boyce, (deceased). The wonderful sister of Debbie (Michael) Cave, Donna (Mell) Fuller and Charles (Bonnie) Boyce, sister-in-law of Layla (George) Baladi and Solong Zeino, loving aunt of Joseph Baladi and Zena (Mike) Fields, Matthew (Jessie, and their daughters Madison and Kinley) and Alex (Jessa, and their son Owen) Fuller, Christin (Jeff, and their sons Ethan and Grant) Leinbach and Hayley Cave, John and Thomas Pardo and their siblings, Caitlin and Charles Boyce III. As well as her loving aunt Margaret Watts of Westboro, MA and her daughter, Kim(Gary), and the Maine cousins: Jodi(Tim), Judi(Richard), Jimmy(Gina) and Donald(Kate) and their families. Betsy spent most of her career in Retail Management; working her way up the ranks over 18 years to become a Director of Stores at Macy’s and locally at Bealls, until her eventual retirement. She left a lasting legacy wherever she lived and worked, including Louisville, KY., Columbus, OH, Houston, TX (twice), Atlanta, GA, St. Louis, MO, and San Francisco, CA, where she retired from Macy’s. Betsy’s last move was to Longboat Key, FL where she continued working for Bealls, as Director of Stores, until her illness forced her final retirement. Betsy had a passion and talent for people, hundreds have reached out to share fond memories of her work ethic, her leadership through positivity and most importantly of the value of her enduring friendship and love. We will miss Betsy’s ever-present smile, unwavering positivity, legendary generosity and the palpable energy of her caring. In lieu of flowers and in appreciation for the excellent care Betsy received from Dr. Richard Brown and Dr. Judy Wang and the team of their associates, whom she challenged at every juncture to provide her with the highest level of support medicine could offer, please consider a donation to support the Jellison Cancer Institute, Medical Director’s Fund, (C/O Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation). A family celebration of her life will take place in Vermont, at a later date, and private burial will be in Waterbury, VT.
